SUV Kit

The kit is designed to be completely removable and requires no permanent modifications to your vehicle. It simply lifts into the trunk space and is secured using heavy-duty surfboard-style straps attached to your vehicle’s existing anchor points.

Because every SUV has a slightly different interior layout, the exact tie-down method can vary. Wherever possible, we recommend securing to factory anchor points that are mounted directly to the chassis for maximum strength. In some vehicles, the second-row seat mounts can also be used as additional secure fixing points. The goal is a solid, rattle-free install that still allows you to remove the kit whenever you need your vehicle back to stock.

In most SUVs, yes—and this is a trade-off that allows us to provide a full-length sleeping platform within a compact space. To achieve the bed length, the front seats typically need to be moved forward, which means the bed needs to be packed down before driving.

The good news is that the process is quick and simple. Once you’re familiar with it, setting up or taking down the bed takes around 5–10 minutes. Many customers find it becomes part of the routine—similar to setting up camp—and well worth it for the comfort of a proper sleeping platform.

With the bed fully set up, the platform sits relatively high, so stepping in is part of the experience. Most people find the easiest method is to enter through the side door—this allows you to climb in and then easily reach back to close the door behind you.

You can also access the bed from the rear by sliding in through the trunk, which works well if you’re already outside the vehicle or set up at camp. Ultimately, both options work—it just comes down to what feels most natural for your setup.
