Introducing our Mercedes Sprinter 170” Wheelbase Kit. With an extended length wheelbase, boasting a massive 14 feet of total kit length, the opportunities are endless. A design with flexibility in mind, we’ve created a space behind the drivers seat for you to define, while providing all the furniture that you're used to with a VanLab kit. You could customize with a second row of belted seats, or a shower/toilet unit or just enjoy the extra storage area.

Our kitchen is equipped with a fridge compartment (up to 1.75ft³), water storage and sink locker, and a cleverly designed trash and food locker. We combine this with our innovative and flexible French-cleat style table, and twin-height bench top configuration, to optimize the space for convenience and comfort while cooking.
It's not just about functionality; it's about creating a living space that feels like home. Our bench seat doubles as a recommended storage area for electrical components and a comfortable living, working and relaxing space. Again, we’ve called on our French-cleat table that can be effortlessly adjusted to serve as a desk, benchtop, or table and added storage cubbies under the bed, to provide easy access to daily essentials.
The Sprinter 170” Kit provides a MASSIVE north/south raised bed (75" L x 67" W) atop an enormous 95ft³ garage section. We designed this area with 24 storage lockers for all your equipment, and a large central garage section tall enough for multiple bike storage. Added to this, the garage is easily accessible from the front of the van.
Our kits are designed for quick assembly and engineered for DIY installation, so you can get going in no time! What’s our secret? We use 3D vehicle laser scans for every vehicle we work on, and the best 3D parametric design software on the market. Our lead engineers learned these skills while working at the peak of the automotive and aeronautical industries; one from McLaren designing supercars and one from Sikorsky designing helicopters.
We follow Poka-Yoke principles (mistake-proof design), inspired by the precision of automotive production lines. Just like a square peg in a square hole, every part is clearly labeled and engineered to fit perfectly in its designated spot. Whether it’s a unique component that fits only one way or a universal part that’s fully interchangeable, every VanLab kit is built for simplicity and reliability.
ALL our kits are made using the finest 9-ply ½” Baltic Birch Plywood, crafted to maximise durability versus cheaper alternatives whilst keeping weight to a minimum.
